I still remember it perfectly. It was a quiet afternoon and there was a slice of birthday cake sitting in front of me. The very first bite filled the room with warm vanilla, butter and sweetness, and suddenly everything felt lighter.

It wasn't just delicious. It made me feel comforted, nostalgic and genuinely happy. That tiny moment stayed with me long after the cake was gone.

I couldn't stop wondering why something as simple as dessert could change the way I felt. So I started reading about scent, memory and the science behind emotion.

I made the biggest decision of my life while I was pregnant. I left the security of my job and invested my savings, my time and everything I had into building Brown Butters.

The same year my baby entered the world, so did this dream. In many ways, they've grown up together ever since.

I started mixing every formula by hand and testing every fragrance on my own skin. I obsessed over every texture until it felt exactly right because I couldn't imagine creating it any other way.

Along the way I learned what Glycolic Acid could do for rough texture, what Kojic Acid could do for dullness, and what the perfect dessert fragrance could do for an ordinary Tuesday morning.

Some nights looked like this. I built Brown Butters at 3 a.m., fed my baby at 4 a.m., grabbed a little sleep and started again before sunrise. It wasn't glamorous, but it was worth every single moment.

I'm growing Brown Butters the same way I'm raising my child—one day at a time and with everything I have.

I never wanted to build just another skincare brand. I wanted to build something people could actually feel.
